Michiyo Ichimaru, or - just call me Michi. I'm an American who's in love with Japan. I'm studying music theory, Japanese, and law, and will soon have my associates degree as a paralegal. I love listening to and performing music: I sing and play the violin, piano, trumpet, baritone and tuba. Most of my time is spent reading manga, watching anime and J-dramas, fangirling Arashi, writing, or talking to/hanging out with friends. I am a total fangirl, and I love my friends most of all. If you can handle all that, I'd love to be your friend! :D

Forte
A lot of my time on LJ is spent on fandom. Anime, manga, J-drama, and the boys of Johnny's Entertainment have captured my heart and soul. Well, I gave it to Arashi first, happily. I write fanfiction, roleplay, and make the occasional graphics. 99% of what I post about fandom is me fangirling, but don't worry, I don't bite. I may rant sometimes, but I usually try to avoid sounding hateful - because I'm just cool nice like that.
